Hi, we live in West Virginia so we could be back among our family. High on top of a mountain, (2700') overlooking the town of Richwood, we live on the old 5 acre Cook estate which Karen's parents, Junior & Wilma Cook built back in the 1950s.
Along with our three dogs, Zoe, Peaches, & Chopper, we have lots of neighbors who come to visit. Several local deer herds roam the ridge and compete for the corn that Karen puts out. We've had a total of 21 deer feeding at once. A mom and two bear cubs visit every so often. Can't leave trash in the back of my pickup - found out the hard way! Out in the garage we have a grouchy chipmunk that we named "Henry." We've given him eviction notices but he won't leave. Well, he was here first!
