We would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge Fay Barnard and Jean Barnard for all of their hard work in helping hold the reunion. THANK YOU, WE REALLY APPRECIATE YOU!
Rev. T. J. Knox said the prayer before we ate. Thank you, Rev. Knox.
Junior Howerton made two miniature rocking chairs (out of clothes pins) and donated them to the reunion to be given as additional door prizes. Everyone just loved those little chairs. Thank you Junior for the contribution.
Thanks to Juniors contribution, we had a total of four door prizes. The first winner was Polly Howerton Jordan, daughter of Clayton Howerton, granddaughter of Levi Brownlow Howerton. The second winner was Ray Garrett, son of Rose Howerton Garrett, grandson of Levi Brownlow Howerton. The third winner was Carl Knox, son of Velma Dalton Knox, grandson of Bertha Howerton Dalton. And the fourth door prize was won by Carl Howerton, son of Bill Howerton, grandson of Steve Howerton.
In addition to the door prizes, prizes were awarded to the oldest gentleman present and the oldest lady present. T. J. Knox was the oldest man present, 84 years. Grace Howerton Stubblefield was the oldest woman present, 88 years.
